ABOUT OUR TEAM
The YNBA Avengers U12 Cade team is founded on a commitment to positivity, professionalism, and player-centered development. Each season, we have demonstrated consistent growth, steadily advancing through the competitive ranks and finishing the 2024–2025 season in Division 6 of the Ontario Cup. Highlights of the season included a gold medal at the Robert F. Miller Tournament and a silver medal at the Barrie Royals Tournament.
Our team is known for its exceptional organization and strong team culture. Families who join us notice the difference right away. We pride ourselves on running one of the most well-communicated and organized teams in Ontario. Whether it’s game schedules, tournament weekends, or travel plans, we provide timely, detailed information that makes family logistics easier. From halftime snacks and team dinners to bowling nights and spirit gear, we create experiences that bring our group together and make each season fun and memorable.
Led by Coach Paul and Coach Chris, our program emphasizes respect, communication, and character. We’ve received consistent praise from opposing teams and families for how our players carry themselves and how we play. Our approach emphasizes team basketball and long-term development, avoiding youth-level shortcuts like zone defence and isolation-heavy play. This not only aligns with Ontario Basketball’s guidelines, but also leads to better outcomes for all players.
Our coaches work hard to ensure every athlete builds skills, gains confidence, and deepens their love for the game. If you're looking for a team that values growth, professionalism, and doing things the right way, you’ve come to the right place.

The Rep fee for the 2025-2026 season will be $1,950.00.
Last year, this single cost covered our gym time, uniforms, our Ontario Basketball League and Ontario Cup fees, two tournaments (The Barrie Royals and Robert F. Miller), additional training with Coach Pat Au, and our team building activities (hoodies, player photos and bowling).
